Akki - The Archbishop of TechnoAkki was a PA come DJ, managed by Andrew Gallagher under his Lost Generation company (before he joined Fantazia). Akki was his solo artist and performed at Helter Skelter Club in Telford and at Truth in Plymouth. |

He was 17 in 1993, his performances were of his own material including playing the keyboards, drums and percussion. He became involved in the music industry while a student at the Gloucestershire College of Art and Technology, where he studied sound engineering.
Akki was voted by the industry magazines 'Music Technology' and 'Home and Studio Recording' as the best up-and-coming techno artist in the country and appeared live for them at Wembley Conference Centre as part of the British Music fair. He was given a big opportunity, by being allowed to play at the Fantazia parties the Birthday Party and The Big Bang. His career never really took off however and he later faded away into obscurity. Though we believe he still make tunes to this day in his home town of Cheltenham. |
