MC Bassman

MC Bassman began his career back in 1999 in the earlier days of the rave scene, performing for venerable DJ names like Ellis Dee, SS, Ratty, Easygroove, Carl Cox, Ramjack, Sy and many more at events throughout the south of England.

As the scene grew so did the audience for his MCing skills, culminating in Bassman performing at a number of Fantazia events including the largest two in 1992, Summertime and One Step Beyond (30,000+ people). 

As the scene split into 93 into Hardcore & Drum n Bass MC Bassman began to exclusively MC at Jungle/Drum n Bass events, preferring its heavy ragga style basslines, from their he built his reputation and special brand of attitude MCing.  At the height of his career he was jailed (not sure why) and was not released until 2003 when he made an instant comeback including playing at Hysteria, Legends of the Dark Black, Raveology and many other parties.
