DJ LTJ Bukem

Regarded and respected as one of the innovators of the Jungle scene, DJ LTJ Bukum began his DJ career in the Pre-acid House / Rave days of the early eighties playing Soul, Jazz, Hip Hop and Reggae with the legendary Sunshine sound crew.  At a time when sound systems were rife in the UK providing underground "Dance" scene at blues parties, sound clash and the more "intimate" clubs, LTJ Bukum and the crew made their name in the South East claiming many a sound clash title.

Taking inspiration from the infamous Hip Hop crew 'Rap Attack', DJ LTJ Bukem began scratchbeat mixing - the latest DJ technique to his the UK originating from the US Hip Hop scene.  The Acid House explosion in the late eighties provided a 'Home' for his mixing skills as bookings flooded in for various Rave and club events, including many of Fantazia's all night parties of the early nineties.  Having perfected the art of DJing with his unique and innovative style, Bukum turned to the challenge of producing his own music and set up label 'Good Looking Records' working with various well know artists. 

As well as playing regular dates through out the UK, he has also made his name worldwide regularly playing events in countries such as Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Greece and Australia.
