DJ / MC Rude

Rude has been working as an MC for around 10 years, after his interest in it grew during his days attending events such as Fantazia and Obsession. He started performing at a few free parties and successfully secured a residency at Brunel Rooms in Swindon, there he teamed up with resident DJ Webley. Together they attracted bookings all over the UK.

After a year, musical differences resulted in them going their separate ways, however that is when he gained bookings at large events such as Universe and Dreamscape.

When asked about his MCing style Rude had this to say : "My ethos is that an MC should compliment the music. The DJ is by far the most important element of the party. I ride the music and, in my opinion, the best MC's are the ones that do not shout and scream all night, overpowering the music and downgrading its credibility "

DJ's and promoters such as, Seduction, SY, Ratty, MC Marley and Sal (Vibealite) have all said that they rate him very highly and that they would recommend him if asked about his work. He has worked with all the "top dogs" in the Hardcore and Old Skool sector and have even had bookings for Hard House and Drum 'n' Bass events showing his versatility. Recently Rude has started to showcase his skills as a DJ too playing Old Skool & Funky House at events such as The Fruit Club, Frisky & Uproar. Rude has a vast experience as an MC and as well as the Brunel Rooms (Since 1993).
