What gave you that initial push? Record collecting and having nowhere to play them
Did the Djing, Production, Promoting come 1st? DJing came first, Promotion and production are more recent
Who’s throwing the best parties at the moment? 'Old's Cool' in Leeds, The best of the Classic tracks
Which other countries have you played/put parties on? Ireland, Ibiza
What was the first event you ever played at/put on? Well apart form the Northern Soul days, the Leeds Gallery
What’s the best event you’ve played at/put on? 'Galactica' York race course 1993, 7000 clubbers
What was your first record you bought? I have 15000, teh first House tune was 'jack your body - Steve silk Hurley'
Out of all the tunes you have, which one ‘never fails?’ Bizarre inc - Playing with knives
What's you favourite tune of all time? Orbital - Belfast, a re al chillout classic
When all the partying is over how do you like to chill out? Watching telly and eating :-)
So how is the scene in your eyes at the moment? In a bit of array TBH, Old skool making a massive comeback
Where do you live? Wakefield West Yorkshire
What can you remember of playing/being at a Fantazia? Went back in the day, to playing but for a night out, it was amazing
How big is your vinyl collection? What do you think of CDJ's? 15000 vinyl, CDJs ok but CDs a cheap option to get to be a DJ
Funniest thing that ever happened at an event? A friend of mine filming Carl Cox DJing, and he fell off the bar
Other DJs you rate? Sy, vertigo, Stu Allan, CJ Mackintosh
What are your feelings on the MC's? OK in small doses
What do you do outside of the dance music scene? I collect marine fish and vintage Wristwatches
What advice would you give to up and coming DJs/Promoters? Just keep at it, if you want something enough it will happen.
When you play is this pre planned set? NO Never
When was the 1st time you visited Ibiza? Was it to holiday or to play? To play in 1995
What advice would you give to up and coming Dj's/MC's? As above, just keep at it, it will happen.
If you could stage a rave anywhere, where would you choose? In an old warehouse, just like the old days
How do you see the scene 5 years from now? Difficult, but I think vinyl will have made a massive comeback.
If you had a time machine what year would you go back to and why? 1978, the heady days of Northern Soul Allnighters.
