Then the Matrix opened just up the road and Fluid came to an end but Sye got asked by Prashan Mistry from Catch 22 Music to come and Mc at Bassheadz which was a big monthly event. He was resident here for about 2 years again until the club closed its doors in 2002. Continuing to Mc for Bassheadz Sye went on to do other events for Bassheadz including an event at the Fez Club in Reading where He was lucky enough to host for Mr Mampi Swift and was on the line up with just himself and Mc Eksman.

Sye then started mc'ing at the Purple Turtle every Sunday for a night called Deviate which was very successful and ran for about 4 years. This was great as it gave him a weekly venue that he was getting weekly practice in, also to get people out on a Sunday night was a pretty big achievement, and the night was always busy with a very long lasting reputation for quality DnB. From being seen here Sye got asked to perform at many other events, also becoming resident for many regular events in Reading.

The turning point in Sye's career was when he was booked for a night put on by the Fez Club in reading where they we're hosting the Goldie album launch. Sye was asked to perform for Dark Red, who was playing the set before Goldie's and told "Goldie has asked for us under no circumstance does he want an mc on his set!" Sye recalls playing for Dark Red and introducing Goldie, then putting the mic down and saying "have a good set!" when Goldie replied "Where ya going mate? Stay on!!!"
Sye has also ran a few of his own successful events such as Deviated & X-sessive.

Most recently Sye is still resident Mc for Revolution including events held at Bristol's Carling Academy as well as Reading Uni, Fez Club Reading, & Rivermead Sports Complex (vs Random Concept). He also holds other resident spots @ Basement , Lowdown, Uproar, Subfactory,& Renaissance, There aren't many DnB night in Reading that happen without Mc Sye being on the flyer!!!

Sye has also been lucky enough to witness through very hard work, grit and determination, his two very good friends Benny Page and Zero G, cement themselves as Big players in the industry.

This has given him the amazing opportunity of performing all over at Britain in some of the UK's biggest clubs with some of the World's largest crowds. With events coming up in the summer such as 'The Big Chill Festival' and with many amazing memories including attending the BBC 1Extra DnB Show 'Digital Soundboy Takeover!' with Bailey, Shy FX, Marcus Visionary, Breakage, Benny Page, Mc Stamina & Rio Skyz. Things can only go from strength to strength. Sye most definitely has his show on road!
