The trio's blend of commercial dance music and hardcore sounds have drawn comparisons to the likes of fellow Scots Q-Tex, TTF and Ultrasonic, so much so that they have been dubbed "The Nu Skool Of Old Skool".
The group have built up a cult following owing mainly to online social networking sites and getting regular airtime on various radio stations. DJ Johnny Boy of 'TomDJ Online Radio', (the station set up in memory of the legendary Tom Wilson), made "This Time" the tune of 2008 on his 'Bouncing Back' show.
Their Live debut performance saw them thrown in at the deep end, playing between headlining sets from Mallorca Lee and Bass Generator, and the band have since gone from strength to strength playing at many other events throughout the country aswell as selling out their own night in which they donated the proceeds to charity.
They have more recently finished the video for "Holding On" and are currently working on the follow up: "This Time", and they have drawn interest from record labels keen to snap them up. However, the group insist they wont be rushed and are quite content to keep writing new material and work on their live stage shows and videos.
Track samples and videos of their live performances, aswell as the videos for "Holding On" and "Get Up!" can be seen on their Bebo band page: www.Bebo.com/Systematix
