TimetwisterBorn near Paris in 1981, Timetwister opened his ears to hardcore in 1996 with Thunderdome: the Best-Of (given to him by his grand-father), after listening it a lot in boarding school, he began to go to raves, free parties and Teknival. Hardcore is now his religion (he didn’t have any before). |

Directly afterwards he decided to became a sound engineer...
Loving all music, Timetwister enjoys electronic music specially tekno & hardcore, but also jazz, classical, rock’n roll, funk, reggae, dub, disco, as well as dance (really!!!). His way of thinking is easy-going: ”you have a lot of great things in all styles but a lot more shit too”. Working as a sound engineer and as a backliner, he has had the chance to work once with Sepultura on stage, as well as many other famous bands.
Studying three years of engineering while accumulating records, machines and more, he met the hardcore only band Harakiri. He joined the group and first played with them in December 2002, during the off-festival transe-musicales in Britany (France), playing at this time a rude mental hardcore and speedcore style.
Leaving Harakiri in the end of 2004, he’s now a part of Teknomad (French sound-system).
In the beginning of 2004,he discovered industrial gabber and definitively changed to a slower style, while still keeping his force. Playing this in many private parties made him more popular and dancefloor.
Timetwister was first booked as a DJ in December 2004 and has now played with: Daisy, Lenny Dee, Manu le Malin, Jappo aka Unexist-Radium, Alcore, Fantom, Lobotomix, Krapo, Chaosbringer, Moshpit, I.O.M, factory, AK47, Murmure, D'jedi aka electric rescue, Matt Green, Akira, Noisekick and many more.
You can listen to his first track released on Industrial strength records, the best label ever for him... |
