Fantazia Clash of the Titans - 29/09/07 - Review 2

The following is a review of the event by forum member HTID_KT:

Hey sports fans.

Were to start I awoke early on Saturday morning at 8.30 am as I had a few hours coaching to do .After that it was off to play football Near Clydebank. Unfortunately we were defeated.

So its now time to head home in the car way down the road a small CD on to fell and get the buzz as if I didn't already have it . See previous post's if u don't believe me. lol

Back home now and its 4.30 so in pizza in oven up shower shorts and tshirt on for under neath Ghostbusters suit.

Eat pizza pick up wee bro from work Officially commence in Drinking 5.25 exactly. After a few beers it was off down to team up with mobbs the other half of MnM and the rest of the troops. Good few drinks and the volume increased as 7.30 approached we finished one last drink . Headed out with the yellow wigs the proton pacts and the Ghostbusters overalls. One quick stop at the bank whilst a last can in the taxi. We arrive at Brehead around ten past 8.

Then OOOO MY GOD the queue.  Joined the queue and was interested to see what the new system would be like. Gotta say was not at all pleased 2 hours waiting in the cue with Idiots pushing from the back when standing with a proton pack and a yellow wig not pleased.

Eventfully we get in at ten past ten and means av missed both fourm meets not amused buy a few drinks tokens to refresh ma dry throate.

Into the JD v Bassy G arena for 25 mins before Charlie Lownoise and Mental Theo in the main arena.

Wow was very pleased with them some good old Bouncing tunes yes at times a tad cheesy but good bass was enough for me. And of course finishing with wonderful days Scottish oldskool classic.lol

Also both of them are nuts tops off throwing t-shirts into the crowd dancing with the dancers and ripping Madmans top off. lol

Then after that went for another drink back to JD arena then back into main arena to See Mr Brown. Was My favourite set of the night good mix of old hardcore with new stuff no cheesecore. Went mental when he was on Very pleased with the set.

Then popped of to the Htid arena to check that out for a bit before Going back to see Mallorca lee.

Back to see Mallorca Lee. Yes was a good set agin but again very similar to his last two sets at Fantazia. Anyways the tunes in that set are really good and got the whole crowed lifted for the last hour. Last hour a just had to go for it the bouncing became harder and shaper and faster. The glowsticks were moving with ease and the shapes were getting cut in a fast and furious motion.

Although I never made any of the fourm meets did see Elaine and her ponnies. Seen Mr kilted raver also was a tad worse for were was our Sweets. Meet Zippy a few good times meet Katy and Jahmay Although a think he want to do his dancing and was to involved in it. lol

Zippy a did have jaffa cakes but a had to eat them all in the cue coz it took 2 hours .

Overall an amazing night one down point was the queue to get in but the line up the atmosphere the sound levels and mc's as well as the laser were Right on the button and a gotta say a was all over this event like a dug eating BEETROOT.

Massive respect to Fantazia for doing another great successful event And for doing it in Scotland. Charlie and his crew keep up the good work
