Fantazia - Showtime - 27/01/07 - Review 2

Another Job well done…………Thanks FANTAZIA

I am not even going to compare it;   I have been around long enough to know two nights are never the same… It was still FANTAZIA

We nearly never made it, set off at 2:30pm (due to someone being in bed still).  All the way from Leeds we arrived at the hotel slightly worse for were showered and changed in 10mins managed to get a taxi for £15 to Braehead.

Aproxx 8pm that queue was massive (but the crowd was still up for it). There were some funny things going on in that crowd some of the ladies were freezing and trying to blag a jacket or jumper lol. Watched someone get whacked for pushing in (he was a lot bigger than you mate should of just waited your turn).

Those police dogs are always funny but this time was even better, a young kid in front of me - the dog stopped to smell his shoe and he went drip white (I thought he was going to pass out).

In the other line another kid went to stroke the dog this was so funny the policeman freaked with him (stop stroking the F**king dog) he was pulled out of the line not sure if he made it in.

The officers tend to just leave you to get on with it as long as you leave them or there dogs alone.  I managed to get to see a lot more this time those lasers were just the ticket, managed to catch a mental show on the back wall (well worth the walk around).

Even managed to get in the ladies loo’s for a jimmy riddle (Don’t know how I ended up in there but nobody seemed to mind).

Speaking of loo’s the gents toilet outside I think there was some kind of competition to see who could over fill out the trough (Not funny there were some serious diseases in there)!

Everyone comments on the DJ’S so I'm not going to mention much because they were all great just going to mention a few highlights the vocalist for NJOI – WAS FANTASTICO – sorry but she did it for me…

Managed to catch Graham Park upstairs for a while, first time vie been up there a bit quiet but still great, nice place to chill out and meet some more happy people.

Lenny Dee and Frankie Bones – Great set best I have heard in a while.

Nice to see altern8 play a classic set ohh the memories.

The crowd was well up for it in the H.T.I.D tent.

Even managed to get a go on the FAIRGROUND Ride (Wow I was hyper after that).

Just as well when just in from of me a fella was introduced to the Glasgow kiss he flew about 6 ft but those ever watchful officers soon sorted it out.

Maybe he did asked for it (BUT THERE IS ALWAYS ONE TO SPOIL IT)

Re-entered the main arena for another few hours

The people I met were all very nice like minded individuals,  I know I speak of the rest of my friends also.  Thank you to those that introduced yourselves (As most were surprised to find we were from Leeds).

If I have a complaint this is it, last time there was an abundance of TAXI’S this time there were none.   Although this is nothing to do we Fantazia more local authority.

Left about 3:45am we were too knackered to stay on.  Finally managed to get a Pirate TAXI We were robbed £30 Quid – (but she was nice so we were not too bothered)

Finally kicked it in at 7am slept for 3 hrs then drove back to Leeds

Took us 6.5 hours to get back. We were taking it easy and the KFC on the way back was cool too

Thanks for the memories once again

Maybe bring Fantazia Closer to Home
Thanks Big John, Little John (phoenix) and Eric Phoenix
