Fantazia - Into the Wonderland - 30/09/06 - Review 1

Man ...where do I start?
got my finger out and headed down to Fantazia about 4.20pm and got caught up in the traffic, the road was full of the 35mph crew (really hate that) ended up missing you lot at the pre Fantazia watering hole, really annoyed about that but couldn't really be avoided.

Ended up getting to Fantazia about 5.45, thinking the doors would be open bang on 6pm, got greeted by the mad squad already q'in and getting hyped up for the stompathon which is always good as it lets you do a bit of mingling before the event, was very funny indeed when the camera crew came up n down the q they got instantly swamped by mad ravers, still grin like mad when I think of that, doors opened around 6.30pm if I remember correctly and the q just erupted and went wild with big cheers of here we...here we...here we fookin go!!!! fookin luvved that got a big rush when I heard that.

Finally got in after a quick sniff by the dogs wanting to find peeps' stash, was cacking myself as I was coming up with a vengeance by the time I got sweeped with the metal detector (really good to see that) and I just knew this was gonna be a mental night to remember for a long while, I rushed straight in the main arena expecting James Keat to be working his magic only to find it was Easygroove that was on after that I monged around going for a wander around the arenas had a wee stomp here n there warming up for when the arenas started filling up rapidly.

Got to 9pm ....forum meet up time ..yay

Met up with Jamhay, Kateybabey, Kilwinkie Raver, Bex, James Keat, Tunxy, Solaris, Pleasurehead, Hardcore Kyle, Charlie (Fantazia), Errol Old Skool, Mad Elaine, Old Skool Richy,  and good to meet ya again Eazy-t, think I also met Zippy but can't remember if I just imagined that or what, I'm sure I have missed out a couple of peeps there, my apologies.  Totally awesome actually meeting you lot was really special that was, loads of hugs and genuine pleased to meet ya's. now that's what a event like Fantazia is all about, really made my night meeting you all.

Many special thanks to Bex for sorting the signing out for me I'm gonna treasure those signed CDs.

And a very special big up to Tunxy for signing his CD of Januarys event that man has a real talent ill tell ya, also a very special thanks to The Doctor and David Copeland (hope I got his name right) for signing the Hyperbass set CD also, I'm getting em framed for memories sake now I can just look at em and have the great memories come flooding back to me like a fookin big tidal wave.

Also a very special thanks to Charlie, none of this would have been possible without you and your crews hard work looks like it has all paid off big time, great meeting ya.  Fantastic seeing a arena heaving with loads of mad peeps looked totally surreal was a sight to behold, was mindbendingly amazing to look down on the sea of bodies bouncing and swaying to the mega bouncy tunes everyone I spoke to about that thought that was something they hadn't seen at a venue for sometime, good vibes all round.

Ended up watching the usual mishaps with the stairs again, peeps sliding around and tumbling down the stairs in a jackass style, oh and Errol mate you had me worried for a bit when u took a nosedive over the chairs, and didn't move for a wee while thought u had knocked yourself out on that one m8, great to see ya rolling about laughing about that one, I'll be remembering that for a long time m8, was relieved when you were back on your feet was so funny though.

All in all it was a superb night of banging hard choonage, no trouble that i saw at all which is always good for the continuing good vibes that 99.9% of peeps had, respect to ya all for that one, great to see people being imaginative with their dress code that's what these events are all about.

Long live Fantazia and hope you guys and gals are back for good this time, outstanding never seen it so busy, well that's enough for me my fingers are nearly stumps now after all the keyboard bashing cant wait for the next one.......
