A school friend and I were kinda kidnapped and taken to this event by my mate's older brother. at the time neither of us had transport and hadn't really given much thought to going along to fusion...our plan was to bunk school, get stoned early on, take some acid and generally loon the day away.   We succeeded in our plan and were merrily offered the chance of a free ride and entry to fusion. due to our mental states at the time we turned it down.   Also due to our mental states mark's brother and mate decided it would be easier to imply they were taking us somewhere outdoors (woods + acid = happiness!)...and then just took us to the rave regardless!

The gift of a couple of pills helped quell any argument on route!

Now the rest is really fuzzy...so it's in snatches of partial memory... I recall getting in and the party was in full swing already. the place was heaving and everyone was really going for it. both mark and I were more interested in the lights than dancing due to the earlier acid so we spent the first couple of hours actually in the chill out room.  I distinctly remember boggling about to "it'll be a fine day today" by opus 3 and being sucked into the smokey light show.

Next memory is of being in the main room, feeling puzzled at only hearing sound from one side of the room.   Feeling more relaxed when I see it's a technical fault and not deafness on my part! I think the mc was mc chikaboo and Ii remember it being totally surreal with 50% of the venue going mental and the other half waiting for the sound to return. thankfully it didn't take long and we were off again.

I have a couple of memories of talking with security, who were very sound, and of blagging my way backstage at one point to see if my mate Scott was mcing that night.   Still don't know if he was!

Then it's all over and we're in the car back to Reading with some tape recorded off green apple. the tracks I remember being energizer 1 (second side) and bizarre inc-plutonic.

It's odd though as it was only after I started coming on the forum that a lot of the memories have come flooding back. the more I remember the more I'll post!
