Mickey Lynas

Mickey Lynas was a renowned promoter in the rave scene.   He initially came to prominence when he became one of the main promoters of the already established rave company Amnesia House in around 1990.  He was a very strong character unafraid to argue with his partners in the company.

He famously got married at the Amnesia "Book of Love" event  in front of 10,000 ravers,  a  great moment from a great scene.   However his partners in Amnesia House were not so keen that Mickey was getting most of the press attention and credit for the success of the events.  It was also discovered that the party had not made any money.   The company was back to square one with suspicion falling on Mickey.   Lynas decided to leave the others organising small 2000 people club events and went on to found his own company Dance Trance.

Dance Trance went on to hold a string of parties,  most controversially though was the Wedding Anniversary,  using images from the Amnesia House Book of Love wedding.

Mickey Lynas was sadly killed in a car crash a few years later.
