Mr 3D - The Ultimate Android Profile 1993

A few weeks ago I had a chance to communicate with a being from another world. This intergalactic traveller made time for us from his busy schedule to tell us about his time here with us on Earth. Mr 3D has been around for the last 12 years. He first made contact with us Earthlings at trade shows working for various companies all over Europe. He told me that he really enjoyed working in Scandinavia, as anything that is different goes down really well there. From the trade shows he started to move into clubland, where he really started to find his true mission here on Earth. After about 8 years had passed, a new culture had started to grow from within and away from the normal house scene. The rave scene had started to burst wide open. This was when Mr 3D found his true purpose here on Earth.

It all started one night up in Coventry at the Eclipse. Now Mr 3D had been booked to appear at ‘Energy’ and having never played a rave club before, Mr 3D thought that it would be a fairly normal night – wrong…very big mistake. The queue outside was well over 2,000 and guess what? They had never seen a robot there before. Think about it? Nutted, raring to party, and along comes a bleedin android. Well what an entrance in to the rave scene.

From then on Mr 3D was at the Eclipse on a monthly basis. He then went on to make appearances at “Raveworld, Wonderland and Orange at the Astoria”. Mr 3D then made his way North to Newcastle. He reckons these particular bunch of Earthlings are all “nutters” and really know how to rave to excess, and the aura off the crowd during the walkabout was amazing. It was as though a great sea of people parted either side of me wherever I went. People were touching me to see if I was real. Next came the T2 hangar in Norfolk. 8,000 Hardcore ravers all having a blinding time and I’m right in the middle of them. Mr 3D then was offered a couple of permanent spots at ‘Wonderland’ in Busbys on Fridays and ‘The Astoria’ on Saturdays. After a few months Mr 3D felt that it was time to move on. He is now in residence at ‘The Rocket’ in Holloway, and is also involved with bigger events at The Hippodrome.

Finally Mr 3D is awaiting a consignment of intergalactic pyrotechnics which he will be incorporating into his show. He says that along with all his lasers, lights, sounds and incredible movements his show will be the best around.
