In the 1970's Abba were the biggest of all the Europop acts event finding massive success around the world and they remain popular until this day. They scored 9 chart topping albums and 19 top ten singes. The 80's say the likes of Ace of Base an Roxette led the invasion of Europop into and Britains and Americas mainstream. The biggest of all the 90's group were the Spice Girls. American and European musical creativity has diverged some what through Europop as it is more dance and trance oriented. |
