Got in, got the passes and attempted to find the techno room. Walked thru the huge happy arena, thru the big drum & bass arena and got to another huge arena, where slowish techno was being played. Went up to the DJ box and put me records down, asked the DJ if this was the techno room, and he said, nar, it was the house room. Ha. Wood of been fun if Id Died in there.

Walked thru a door into another huge arena, which was at last the techno room. Forkin huge place likes. Lots of ravers stomping away to some nice Detroit sounding techno being supplied by the MC/DJ Ribbz. Nice.

Dropped of the bags and coats, got a few beers. Sat on the stage most of the night. Couldn't be bothered to move in case I got lost.

DJ Rascal came up next, 9pm, and played some more tasty trance. Gave him a wodge of Judga flyers to put in Spinn Inn record shop in Manchester.

Sound bloke. 10pm, Bass Generator arrived, having driven sober, passed his driving test last week, ha ha. He was at the Southport Weekender. He played a dark Rotterdam selection,  thought a l to of people were scared of the kick drums.

Beautiful girl in white bra & hot pants on the dancefloor kept us amused all night, hmmm. Xe-cure got of with her mate, swapping spit with here for a while.

I was due to play next, at 11pm, but Sharkey had to be at another club, so I let him play. Fist time I'd listened to him DJ, and was pretty good. Not bad that trancecore stuff like. Was standing behind him, saying 'put some gabba on you pussy', ha, 'wooo, Georide Boys', ha.

12 o clock eventually came and I decided to play slowish as they've never had a speedcore DJ there before. Started off around the 200BPM mark, noisey Gobble stuff, Freaks 'Kiss My Ass Jesus' on 6-66, and played that old Aphex Twin PCP thing on 45. Started going a bit crazy on the stage and me headphones fell apart. bahhh.

Mr Bug arrived wit ha handfull of excellent pegs, which I pegged to me T-shirt arms and pegged a wooden one to my ear. Finished off pretty fast, with that Benny Hill tune on Shockwave (Kenny Gee), Shitter and 'Hey Masterbator', to a half empty dancefloor, ha. Stopped the music halfway thru and shouted 'Newcastle are gonna piss on Man U in the FA Cup Final', which didn't go down to well, hehe.

M-Zone came on after me. He played for about 5 minutes and I said to him'wheres M-zone', 'its me' he says, didn't recognise him, had mad spikey blue hair, ha.

2am came, got paid, and we had no where to stay. Hung around the car park a bit and tried to get a lift in an Ambulance. Lucky enough MC NRG & Mr Bug spotted us and invited is back to Mr Caine (happy & ex-hardheadz list) house. Eventually got there about 4am!

Caine came up trumps with a couple of bottles of Newcastle Brown Ale and a peg compendium, wongle. cheers mate. Think I talked about pegs & other crap for a couple of hours before NRG gave us a lift to the station for the 6:48 train to Newcastle, ta.

Walked about the station with the peg compendium, pretending it was a handbag. A Peg Compendium is a circle thing with loadsa pegs around the side, for hanging socks on in the garden. nice.

Had to change trains at York, so we went to the cafe and I pinched a pot of plastic flowers to give to my ex on Sunday, haha. Stashed them in me record bag and the flowers pronged out this side and out eh hole where
the record handle was, sat creased up laughing for about 5 minutes then got the train to the Toon.

Went to me Peg Partners place to drop the new pegs off.

Anywayz, a good weekend, managed to loose another T-shirt and came back
with a cut leg and loadsa bruises = SUCCESS
