After a short trip down the M5 we arrived at the Que Club, the time was 11om, 15 minutes later we managed to find a parking space, parking is not too hot around the club. After attending the last Pure X we knew what to expect from this venue so we were looking forward to a good night. Pushing our way in to the main arena Dr S Gachet was playing some wicked tunes to the packed out dance floor. Pure X had set up a good display, two massive hands at either side of the stage with some top lights, especially the floodlight positioned behind the DJ which when turned on lit up the whole arena so you could just see the outline of the DJ behind the decks. Sadly the sounds system was not up to much but this did not seem to bother the happy crowd. DJ's who impressed on the night, Sy unbelievable as usual, Dougal, what can you say about this DJ, bringing back the happy vibe, G E Real and Foodjunky fastly becoming the better DJ's on the circuit.
Venturing around the many corridors of this spacious venue, we entered the chill out room, where Tony Sanchez was playing a top House set, the the smaller crowd. Everything was catered for on the night, hot and cold food and drink, and plenty of seating, I especially liked the balcony which had cinema style seating. Pure X had done the business again for the knock down price of £10, some promoters should take a look at Pure X's value for money. Next up 16th April, Pure X go for a third night of pure excitement. See ya there! |
