MC Charlie B - Profile

I first started MCing at a club in Cornwall called The Shire Horse back in 1992 with a DJ called Mastervibe. In 1994 I moved back two my hometown of Canvey Island in Essex where I linked up with Slipmatt and started working alongside him at the weekends and got my name about. Eventually some of the bigger promoters and organisations starting to book me, such as Dreamscape, Helter Skelter, United Dance and Slammin Vinyl.

I have played all over the world from the United States to Canada, and all over Europe including Germany, Denmark, Spain, Majorca, Jersey, and I’ve been a resident in Ibiza for the last 5 years at Es Paradis, Eden, and Summum performing at Helter Skelter, Raveworld, and Slip Back in Time.

I am still working very closely with Slipmatt and involved in the new Ravebreaks style that he and Billy ‘Daniel’ Bunter are pioneering. I have now set up base again back in the UK so I am officially back on the rave circuit having won the ‘Best Old Skool MC’ at the HTID awards.
