DJ Faydz Profile

Faydz is firmly established as one of the UK's finest Rave DJ's, well known for his unique 'Nu Skool Rave sets' where he mixes and scratches up the very best in Rave Breaks, Hard House, Old Skool Hardcore, Drum & Bass, Scouse House, Nu Skool Breaks and his exclusive (but rather cheeky) Dubplates! These explosive ingredients combine to make a DJ set that has been scientifically proven to destroy dancefloors everywhere!

He is currently working for the countries leading Rave promoters SLAMMIN VINYL, HARDCORE TILL I DIE and UPROAR and has forthcoming bookings at many other events across England and Wales including EKTOS (Swindon), DIRTY KNEES (Cardiff), REJUVEN8 (Swindon), RIVERDANCE (London), BREAKFREEKZ (Oxford), RAINDANCE & TASTY (London), SLAMMIN VINYL'S WESTFEST 2007 (Shepton Mallet) HYPERCORE (Swindon), HARD and JUICY (Swindon) and NYE-NEC 2007 (Birmingham)

A little history...

Since beginning his career in 1992, Faydz has performed for some of the biggest promoters in the dance music industry including Slammin Vinyl, HTID, Hardcore Heaven, Uproar, Raver Baby, Gatecrasher, Sundissential, Twice As Nice and Garage Nation.

He's mixed alongside many of the UK's leading DJs - Slipmatt, Hixxy, The Tidy Boys, EZ and BBC Radio One's The Dreem Teem, to name just a few and booked as support DJ for chart topping acts, DJ Luck & MC Neat, Mis-Teeq and Ms Dynamite.

He's promoted his own nights XpressionZ and Rejuven8, hosting Old Skool/Drum & Bass arenas at The Fruit Club, DJ Seduction's Uproar and also at various night-spots around the county of Wiltshire. From 2001 - 2006, Faydz provided the cuts and scratches for Bristol based Hip-Hop band Zark 7 at venues through out the South West. In June 2007, Faydz played a part in Hardcore History, performing at the massive HTID IN THE SUN event in Lloret de mar, Spain and in October, played the opening set in the 10,000 capacity arena at the Royal Bath and West Showground, Shepton Mallet for Slammin Vinyl's WESTFEST 2007!

As well as his busy schedule on the clubbing circuit, Faydz works in radio, hosting shows on various legal and illegal stations, produces his own dance music and has given mixing/scratching tutorials and advice to the up and coming DJ talent in schools and youth groups
