The radio station was busted late in 1991, Vibes was fined £1200 and his equipment was confiscated. Not to be beaten by this set back, he continued his involvement in the scene, DJ in the right places. By 1993 he had secured himself a residency at 'Roller Express' in Edmonton. His reputation built after numerous gigs and Vibes ended up Djing at most of the hardcore venues. His break into producing & the main stream came after he borrowed £800 from a relative to release his first record "Obsession (Music's So Wonderful" with Wishdokta on his new Asylum label. Sales of over 10,000 copies spread his exposure and encouraged his booking on bigger and bigger billings on the DJ circuit. Vibes still plays his brand of Happy Hardcore today and has his own favourite MC - Live Lee, and can often be seen at Dreamscape and Hardcore Heaven. Vibes appeal spread overseas and he has played in numerous countries like Australia, Canada, Sweden, Germany, Spain & many more.
