Top Guard Security

Good security was always an important part of a successful events.   The the 90s there were a number of companies involved at various events,  Fantazia however always used Top Guard where we were responsible for hiring our own.    We include a short biography on them written in 1993:

Kevin Camp started Top Guard in 1990 and built the business up to around 450 employees.   They provided security for venues like the G-Mex arena,  EMF tour,  Smash Hits Poll Party,  Chris Eubanks fights amongst other things and have travelled as far as Moscow as their reputation has grown.     Kevin very early identified that there were problems at rave events that they could provide a solution for.

Since 1990 they have provided security at over 45 Rave events from 2,000 up to the giant Fantazia event One Step Beyond at Donnington Park with 25,000+ people.  They built up the experience to solve problems.

All their staff wore yellow jackets with numbers on.  their computer system held the name and address of all those staff for up to 2 years after they left employment, so any staff member that received a complaint against them could be dealt with appropriately.     People were encouraged to report any rude staff as the companies policy that staff should be firm and polite.

There attitude to drugs was to always confiscate any found,  Top Guard always had a close relationship with Police and would hand dealers to the authorities.
