Universe - Closure 1993

Due to the immense costs involved in the production of events to Universe standards and the falling attendance during the summer of 1993 it is with great regret that Universe had been forced to cease  trading and will shortly be going into liquidation.

Goger Spurrel, a director of Universe said, "the summer started well with Tribal Gathering, however Time Machine and Big Love did not attract the expected number of party goers.  Universe had always taken pride in it's reputation as the number one dance party organisation; unfortunately with the huge costs involved in producing a Universe event and the drastic shortfall in ticket income,  the company has no alternative other than to cease trading.

"I would like thank all Universe party goers for their support over the last few years.  It is with great sadness that Big Love will not be the last Universe Dance celebration.
