Raveology & Legends of the Dark Black biog
Legends was born in the mid 90s and every year hosted the d&b arena at the essential festival, also many other events such as Alexandra Palace, Brixton Academy, and many more today Legends of the Dark black takes place at the event2 in Brighton and in the west-midlands at various venues already, the night has graced the Que Club, the Carling Academy, and air night club and the brand has built up a massive following now with the legends arena being ram jammed every time. Raveology started a year ago in Birmingham and has become the most prominent Old Skool & D&B night in the Midlands. Within 12 months Raveology has been staged over 10 times at various venues even London has seen Raveology touchdown at the MC Convention and this summer sees Raveology touchdown at SEONE at Hysteria. Raveology was launched by MC Magika a long standing figure from the rave scene who has stood the test of time and is still standing strong today. From being Carl Coxs mc back in the day Magika has progressed well within current times by being on the same agency as Fabio & Grooverider, to now being on Unique artists home of Andy-C, DJ Hype etc. Not only does he run Raveology he is behind Legends of the Dark Black in the Midlands with the sister company in Brighton being run by founder Ish Ali founder of Essential Festivals.
Raveology has become the new Flashback and has taken over from where they left off. Birmingham is the place to be once upon a time peeps came from all over the UK to raves in the 2nd city and now 15yrs on, its happening again, there is a great vibe in Birmingham that is hard to rival. Over the last few years this has been tarnished somewhat, however with the mix of the old and the new the peace & love vibe of raving is back bigger than ever. HARDCORE WILL NEVER DIE. Magika 2005.
